On June 9, 2026, Golden TW Realty and Development Corporation, together with its flagship developments Kaban Hotel & Casino (Boracay) and Boracay Central, proudly joined Brigada Eskwela 2026 — the annual nationwide school maintenance and preparation program that brings communities together ahead of the new school year. This year’s theme, “Sama-Sama sa Brigada,” resonated deeply with everything we believe in as a company rooted in Barangay Yapak, Malay, Aklan.
The activity was conducted at two Yapak-based institutions: Yapak Elementary School and Lamberto H. Tirol National High School — the very schools that serve the children and families of the community where our developments stand and continue to grow.
Giving Back to the Community
Through this Brigada Eskwela initiative, three 55‑inch television units were donated to two recipient schools. The contribution was received by Churchill Candari Gumboc, Head Teacher I of Lamberto H. Tirol National High School, and Sajid Perez Pelayo, Head Teacher II of Yapak Elementary School.
Golden TW also donated a full set of school maintenance and cleaning supplies, including brooms, dustpans, trash bins, shovels, rakes, cleaning agents, and paint materials. These resources will help ensure that classrooms are ready to welcome students in a well‑maintained environment.

For Golden TW, joining Brigada Eskwela is more than a corporate responsibility. It reflects a commitment woven into every project: growth must be shared, and the communities where we build are communities we stand accountable to.
Golden TW COO Kimberly Wong underscored the company’s commitment to Barangay Yapak, highlighting the importance of supporting the community alongside its developments.
“Barangay Yapak has welcomed our projects, and the least we can do, and will continue to do, is show up for the people who call it home. The children studying in these classrooms today are part of the same island we are building for tomorrow,” Wong said.
She expressed gratitude to the administrators, teachers, and staff of Yapak Elementary School and Lamberto H. Tirol National High School for their warm reception, and acknowledged the Golden TW team members whose efforts made the activity meaningful.
